MELANIE HILL

Founder & Principal Consultant

Exploring ideas of leadership since her kindergarten years Melanie once informed her mother “you’re not the boss of me, I’m the boss of me, and I choose to listen to you.” This led to a great conversation and a persistent curiosity that influenced her earliest management jobs in hospitality and led to a career focused on people at work.

With close to 20 years of professional and consulting experience, Melanie is a Certified Human Resources Leader, holds a Master’s Certificate in Adult Training and Development, is an Actionable Conversations Consulting Partner and Certified Emotional Intelligence EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360® Coach, who brings a people-centred, process-focused approach to every engagement.

Melanie focuses on helping managers and teams amplify performance, collaboration, innovation and well-being, with a mission to ignite conversation, accelerate change, and create highly capable and connected teams that thrive in the future of work.

GREG PINKS

Collaborative Partner

While considering career choices, Greg listened intently to the conversations of his parents’ friends, hoping to discover which jobs were the most exciting. Instead, what he heard was a lot of frustration and disenchantment with the daily grind.

Perplexed that people would spend most of their adult lives in unfulfilling situations, Greg sought to understand a career path where he could help make peoples’ working lives more enjoyable and more meaningful. Though he was still in high school, this was the start of Greg’s passion for creating great workplaces.

Today, Greg Pinks is a Certified Human Resources Executive, has earned a Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen’s University, holds a Master’s level designation as a Certified Executive Coach, is the Chief Leadership Officer at Axiom Performance Inc., and a Collaborative Partner with Vibrant Work.

With over 20 years’ experience in business strategy, leadership coaching, and employee engagement, much of which was gained as Vice President for two publicly traded Canadian companies, Greg provides strategic HR consulting and executive & leadership team coaching to private and public organizations in their pursuit of excellence.
